| | Temperature correction factors When hoses are required to operate at temperatures higher than 20оС, the correction factor should be
multiplied by the working pressure given in the technical table Example: A DN 32 flexible metal hose is required to convey fluid at working pressure of 20 bar and temperature of
200 оС. From the technical table the maximum working pressure at 20оС for braided DN 32 hose is 45 bar.
From the correction factor table the maximum working pressure at 200оС=45x0.69=31.05 bar. The hose
selected is suitable for application.
